Anime: Kyoukai No Kanata Episodes: 12 and 1 movie genres: Slice of life, Supernatural, Fantasy, Romance Plot: Mirai Kuriyama is the last survivor of a clan of a spirit world warriors tha have the power to employ their blood as weapons. And so Mirai is tasket with killing "youmu" creatures that are made from negative human emotions. One day in the school roof she meets a boy named Akihito kanbara, a rare half-breed youmu in human form. She panicks and plunges her blood into him only to realize that he's actually immortal. From then on they make a "Friendship" that resolves her trying to kill him. Eventually, Akihito manages to make her join the Literary Club,which houses two other powerful Spirit World warriors, Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase. As the group's bond strengthens, however, so does the tenacity of the youmu around them. Their misadventures will soon turn into a fight for survival as the inevitable release of the most powerful youmu, Beyond the Boundary, approaches. I fell in love from the first episode. It was captivating and humorous. some episodes could make you laugh and then in the next minute make you cry. All the characters were well written (for me) And then the animation and music were wonderfull. 10/10 Its in my top 10 for sure.
