Hello guys today we have a review for my favourite game on pc.The game is This is the police I loved it .
First of all what is the this is the police : This is a police themed strategy adventure. You are Jack Boyd a soon to be retiring Police Chief. Unfortunately, your precinct suffers from an ugly underbelly full of corruption. The consequences of your actions and decisions will determine how Jack reaches his retirement. Your job is to control the day to day actions of your precinct. You tasks are to manage your staff, respond to emergencies and investigate crime. You will come face to face with the local mafia. The mafia is deeply embedded in running the seedy underbelly of the city. Further, the mayor is corrupt and attempts to maneuver every scenario into his own political advantage. As a result you are facing an up hill battle from the very beginning of the game.
Story and Lore 10/10 This Is The Police tells the compelling story of head of Freeburg Police, Jack Boyd. His retirement approaches, yet the city has been the safest it's ever been under his protection. In his final hours as police chief, Jack must do his best to keep the city safe as well as deal with his own personal struggles. The mayor of the town: Rogers, is an arrogant, pompous and selfish man who caares more about his own position as mayor than the city's safety, and has ordered Jack's retirement. The city's mafia: The Vargas and The Sands will battle each other in the open streets. Jack must later side with one of them and opt to aid the respective gang when aid is called for. However, the city may catch on to Jack's tendency to help one gang and revolt against him.
Gameplay: 9/10 The main aspect of the game is the management of your department. You hire cops and detectives and you answer the calls of whoever you think needs help the most. You decide of who to send and how much support they get to perform their duty. Some of the calls will be about providing services for the state, some will be false alarms, some will lead you to murder scenes to investigate. You have to deal with the press when you are put into tricky situations. You have to make decisions and try to please everyone if you want to keep your job, your life, and your extra savings for when retirement comes.
Style and Visuals 10/10 I've come across a good amount of indie titles with enjoyable style, but never something as sophisticated as This Is The Police. The game tells its story through a series of narrated cutscenes. My guess is that the game takes place during the 70's. The soundtrack is phenomenal, the characters each have their own unique personality and this all adds up to the weight which the player must be burdened with as the head of Freeburg Police. None of the characters have a proper face drawn on them, yet the player feels the emotions of each nad every one of these characters. The guilt which they carry, their distraught tones. Everything. This Is The Police is most likely one of the best, if not the best, indie title when it comes to style and presentation.
In conclusion The game is really good i played it for hours and i loved it .The music and the voice acting was brilliant .The gameplay is good and simple ,I loved that you can fire or get new police officers and i love that you can do thing or you can kill some of them with mafia .The end was little sad and this is the only negative thing in the games . The characters each have their own personality and this is a very good thing One thing i loved in this game is the good soundtrack. The music made me to remember older and clasic game.The price of this game is good and i think it is a very good game to buy if you like police,simularions or great soundtrack games like that.The story was good but THE FREEBURG what country is all teenagers are bad or all the feminism and racism on black people i think this city should have named America .LoL .This is a very good strategy simulation game .You should play it now if you like police games .
