Lets start with my review : The headphones come in a nice brightly branded cardboard box, a small tab is pulled at the top of the boxes rear allowing the inner box to be pulled out from the bottom. Inside the packaging you will find the headphones, instructions (in English & Chinese) as well as a USB cable for charging the headphones and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for connecting the headphones to non bluetooth devices. As per the instructions, I plugged the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones in via USB to my Macbook and gave them an initial charge of 3 hours (the charge indicator LED goes off before this but ignore that on the first charge to ensure the battery is properly conditioned).

With the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones charged up it was time to pair them up to my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 this is done by holding in the power button for 4 seconds, in “pairing mode” the LED’s will flash blue and then red, the phone picked up the headphones and pairing was quick and painless. I next paired up the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones to my Macbook, again this was a simple straight forward operation.

Styling The Mixcder Drip wireless headphones feel sturdy in the hand and are brightly coloured, the instructions say that the headphone band and ear pads are made of high quality leather, they certainly feel nice and plush but it could possibly be pleather. The remainder of the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones body is of plastic construction, with the USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and volume controls situated on the headphones. Looks wise they are chunky in a good way and look very bright and youthful, the styling will be a real hit with those that like to make a bright and colourful statement as well as those that like a sporty look to their headphones. The contrast of the light blue and white really does make a visual impact, the styling is probably going to be a Marmite thing, some will love the styling some will loath it but for sure you won’t miss them.

Sound quality

Usually I find that headphones lack adequate bass reproduction, normally being on the tiny side, with the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones the opposite was true. The sound quality was not bad but very much over powered by the bass reproduction from the 40mm drivers, this was fairly easily sorted using EQ on both the phone and the Macbook. Once I had spent some time tuning the output to the , they were fairly enjoyable to use and for someone that likes dance, EDM or other bassy forms of music the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones will not disappoint. The volume that the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones is capable of outputting is very impressive, although at higher volumes you will have to tweak the EQ gain, the bass really is that strong on them. Lets not forget that these are not high end audiophile grade headphones and given the price point they are being sold at nor would I expect them to be.

Bluetooth Features

The Mixcder Drip wireless headphones work over Bluetooth 4.0 giving low energy and good compatibility. An interesting feature of the headphones is their ability to be used as a bluetooth headset, I am not sure how comfortable I would personally be walking down the road chatting away with no visible phone or on ear style headset, but considering the number of commuters that are now rocking large style earphones and those that are willing to talk to their wrists (Apple watch users), this will likely not be an issue for them. The headphones feature a noise reduction microphone to help keep calls clear when out and about on windy days or when sat at home listening to music (they drowned out the noise of my young children arguing admirably), I had the occasional call come through that I would probably have otherwise missed had it not come through the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones.

Call quality on the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones is not bad and the isolation offered from outside noise certainly helped to keep the kids from disturbing the conversations. I have not yet had a chance to try the Mixcder Drip wireless headphones whilst gaming, I would hope that when paired to a gaming system the built in mic would be accessible in game as well.

At just £27.99 they are a pretty decent set of headphones (once you have set up your EQ), that will provide good music reproduction with bass that leaves a lot of pricier headphones wanting.

I recommend this product because i loved it . :)
