My review :
They were easy to un-box and prepare to use. I find by far the easiest approach is to use the Cockpit software you can get from the Devolo site. This lets you view and manage the plugs. Take a note of the 16 digit code, plug into a wall socket and then add using the code functionality. No issues at all. Then again using the simple Cockpit software again, select the wifi set up for the wifi enabled plugs and configure. If you use the same wifi details as your router or other Devolo then it nicely extends the range. They men your whole house gets wifi or you can use the provided Cat 5 connection for wired connectivity. I use both options. I recommend Devolo. Simple to use, you can name each plug so you know which one is which so simpler to manage. Any software updates are also mangled through the central software through a one click upgrade. 8f you want to easily extend your home network either wired or wireless then I certainly recommend Devolo and these do a great job.
