There are so many games consoles out there these days that some people forget that one of the best ways to game is in fact through your PC/Laptop and that is why these headphones are so good. They are produced just for PC/Laptop gaming so they are tailored for just that purpose. One of the main things that make these headphones stand out above the rest is the 7.1 virtual surround. This gives your gaming an extra dimension that brings the game out to you and puts you right in the middle of the action. All you need to do to get this amazing sound is to install the driver from the disc that is provided.
The headphones are really well made as well as being really stylish. The materials are top notch and the workmanship is great. The headband has 4 pads in the inside to give a really comfortable gaming experience and they can be worn for extended period due to the fact that they are so comfy. The ear cups have breathable padding in them too and they fit over the ears nicely. The headphones have an adjustable headband so they will fit most people. Being gaming headphones, there is also a Mic built in. The Mic is on a moveable boom and it is omni-directional. It is really sensitive and there is very little background noise from it.. When you are not using the mic you can simple Mute it and move it up out of the way. This is great for if you decide to use the headphones only for music and the sound you get from them makes them ideal for this too. The ear cups stop any noise from the outside seeping in so all you get it the sound from the game or the music you are listening to.
Controls for the headphones volume and the mic Mute button are on a handy pad fitted inline on the braided 3metre cable. On the pad is Volume + and – and a volume mute button and also there is a mic button. When you switch on the mic the centre of the pad lights up in neon blue so if you are gaming in the dark you instantly know if the mic is switched on or not. The headphones themselves light up when they are plugged in too. Once you have loaded the driver disc you open a whole range of different settings and sound profiles. There is a graphic equalizer to create the sounds you want and far too many modes and setting to list here. I suggest buying this if you are a PC gamer.
