Review : Both hangers are made from die cast aluminium with a textured black finish and a simple Brainwavz label in white. They are attached to a suitable surface with a strong 3M adhesive pad so I would be certain where you are placing them as they will not be easily removed once in place.

The Vertical model are designed to be attached to a wall or another surface that is facing you. Alternatively, the Monitor design is engineered to be placed on the rear surface such as the back of a monitor with the hanger section protruding round the side. If you are looking for a suitable mounting place on a desk, this latter model may well be the best option as they safely hold the earphones and trailing earphones out of harm's way and are still in easy reach when required

The Vertical hanger measures 60mm tall by 32mm and protrudes 50mm while weighing in at 33g. The Monitor hanger measures 86mm wide by 50mm and protrudes a maximum of 29mm from the side of the monitor while weighing in at 32g. While this seems like a fairly simple product, and it is, they are well designed and the build quality feels almost bullet proof. They are solid with no flexible parts and the section that holds the earphones are like two arms that are split and angled in such a way that makes getting the earphones in and out a breeze. I suppose this very solid build quality would warrant some extra care on the user's part because if you got the earphone cables caught on something and tugged, you run the real risk of breaking your earphones/cable. This is more of a disclaimer for the clumsy though.

As an earphone manager/cable tidy for an office desk or similar, these are a well-constructed and handy tool. I must admit it is not something I had personally looked for in the past but now I can see real value in an earphone hanger for my office desk and put these to good use. It certainly is preferable to having earphone cables snaking over my work desk when not in use.

Review :

Couldn't live without this thing...keeps my headset from sliding off of my computer tower every night and smashing into the ground (my usual headset resting place). My computer desk is about 1.5" thick and this holder grips it securely. It's a spring-loaded design so you just have to pry it open a bit to slide it onto your desk - then release and the arms will automatically close. One of the reasons I chose this model over some of the others is the pivoting function - I have this attached to the right side of my desk but I have it pointed towards me so I can just pull the headset towards me and off the holder. The little cable holder thingy works well with my headset's cable, and keeps that off of the ground and out of the path of my automatic vacuum cleaner, which is another plus.
