My review :

TL:DR There are problems with the games that need to be fixed for either be absolutely stupid or not working properly but if you're interested in a competitive team fighting game I would reccomend. Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a weird game in the current state it is in right now, there are both things that make the game fun and things that ruin it at the same time.

First of all the intense amount of server lag at the start of the game is absurd as you can't even get a perfect launch off the start of the match, as well as that there is also lag that sometimes happens within the middle of games which can completely ruin your chances of beating someone even if the lags happens for a second.
The matchmaking system is based on a ranking system of D5 - s1 with D5 being the lowest, you get matched with people your rank and you fight its simple, for Quick Play its just a mash of everyone so you can be put up against a level 50+ etc. Even though you may get placed against higher levels it makes very little skill wise because they either played the entire campaign to get the level or just grinded out matches, aslong as you know what buttons to hit you can beat them.

The character customization in the game is weird, being able to make your own character is awesome and genuine to make your character look like someone from Naruto, but clothing in the game is awful as each piece of clothing gives its own skill(s), Either an item gives one or two skills and you can wear up to three clothin items. Its a really dumb addition to the game even if they don't do that much within combat but should definetly be removed. The campaign in missions in the game are okay, its nothing like the other games but this game is more based on the PvP and competitive side of Naruto, Its not a terrible campaign and the missions aren't awful, I enjoyed them when

I played them but trying to get a 100% completition on all the missions is impossible alone as you won't deal enough damage and will run out of time. And in my time of writing this I struggle to find anyone for a team for a rank S mission. The campaign of the game also dosen't flow at all to events it just kinda jumps around. The Gui and people you need to talk to in the hub isn't all that bad as people say it is, I think they took the right approach with having different people for the five Gui's needed to enter with really only 2 being open all the time. Although the lock on scrolling when you enter a menu is dumb and should be removed. As well finding items for clothing takes absurdly long especially for titles without a search option.

PvP in the game is pretty good with some balancing being needed as Tanks seem to be a bit over powered dealing massive damage and take little in return, and Ranged not doing nearly as much close range, Tanks ability to make a shield needs to be nerfed as they can just sit inside a shield to cap a base or capture a scroll which is dumbfounded and also time consuming since you can't do anything. I have had problems of people not flinching while I hit them as me getting screwed over by it I don't know if its intentional or a bug but I feel its something that should be looked into. As well as flinching when you attack someone for long enough they will eventually get a reset but there have been multiple times where I would not be given a chance to retaliate from a reset and get thrown into a nother one and just allowing the other person to destroy me. I feel that each reset should allow for the player to comeback fighting because subsitution jutsu's and dashing should not be the only way of escape. Aswell there are scrollls which you can pickup with your team that give buffs that aren't super powerful but help, unless you get the ultimate scroll which will summon Gambunta and just destroy the enemies and also adds another lock-on target as well as another annoyance which should not be included because it gives the team with Gambunta an extreme advantage. Scrolls also have no pickup time and should have a pickup time that reduces with the amount of players on them.

The movement and the camera in the game are okay but could be improved, Dashing and guarding need seperate buttons there have been multiple times where I want to stop moving and need to guard but instead just dash into another spot just to die, with cameras locking into an enemy is the same as switching to an enemy which seems good in theory but when you want to look around for a place to jump or to check behind you, but still want to be focused on the same enemy it will throw your lock on to the next person over. Either give it seperate buttons or make it so you have to click the thumbstick in and move it to change target lock ons.

The amount of teamwork needed in the game is insane, you simply can't win a battle of a 2v1 alone unless you get lucky and I honestly like it that way it adds a more competitive edge to the game and allows it to develop better for new strategies being able to combo up with a teammate and just destroy a person alone makes teamwork very important. Masters in the game are nicely done as they require you to actually do missions with the master you're training with on to get new rewards and allows you to get their new ninjutsu which is a great addition and really allows players who spend time to work up their mastery with masters get rewarded more Pros: Combat is optimal with great addition to teamwork Awesome ninjutsus Great movement Ability to train with a character from Naruto Character custimization Ranked play, and casual play Co-Op Missions Ability to choose with village to join

Cons: Wardrobe affects playstyle Camera and movement need some adjustment Slow Gui movement Server lag Ultimate scrolls give insane advantages Possibility to match disconnent Entire party leaves a match if party leader leaves Each game needs one healer Small balancing issues Doubt of actual updates to the game No great way of voice-chatting with team and limited coms This game does have a potential to become and Esports game but at its current state and popularity it cannot if they improved things and were dedicated to this game which I doubt it wont happens
