My review about this : So I just got this flashlight a little bit ago, and to me it was worth . This thing is quality from beginning to end. To start, the packaging is minimal and clean. The large box came f paperwork, the flashlight, and the tiny box which housed the battery and microUSB cable. l. It made for good presentation. There is a lot of attention to detail when it comes to this flashlight, probably my favorite thing being that the metal cap has an elastic cord attaching it to the body of the flashlight. This makes it impossible to lose the cap someplace when you set it down for charging. The LED light for the battery indicator is larger than I expected (for the area it's installed into) but it's smooth and soft. The light from that led doesn't fade as you look at it from the edges, it's uniformly bright all the way around. Another little thing I like is that the wrist strap comes preattached. It's nice not having to fumble with trying to get that looped around itself like, but I do wish there was a clip on the strap (like a Wii Remote has) to help keep it on your wrist once it's on.

As far as the size goes, the thing is about an inch taller than a sharpie, and is as wide as a quarter at the handle and as wide as a half-dollar coin (if you remember those) at the bulb. The whole light is very balanced with the weight being concentrated in the handle (as that's where the battery is) and it's a nice touch. For the actual light itself, I haven't been able to test it at night yet, but pulling the shades in my bedroom and keeping the lights off, this flashlight seems like it will perform adamantly in the nighttime. I will attempt to update later tonight with pictures in real darkness, if I can do so from my phone. The 5 modes each have their own uses, and the SOS Morse code one is a good touch. Be careful with the strobe light however, as just watching it for a second makes my eyes very unhappy, even though I've never had problems with epilepsy or anything like that. All in all, this is a quality flashlight that I'm a big fan of. . I think the ability and convenience of having a rechargeable flashlight that is so bright in such a small package would make a lot of dads happy. You won't regret purchasing this or gifting it away. :-)
