Sandberg solar charger review !

Hello guys ,today we have a review about Solar Charger 13W 2xUSB !

Let's start with some information :

Sandberg Foldable Solar Charger is a highly efficient solar panel that converts sunlight to electricity. It features 2 USB outlets that can be used for charging your USB devices, such as smartphone, tablet or powerbank. By connecting to a powerbank, you can save the electricity there for later charging of your smartphone or you can use it as a stabilising intermediary when charging (if your powerbank supports simultaneous power in and out). The USB outputs are placed in a practical zipper pocket with plenty of room for your USB gear. The supplied snap hooks can for instance be used for attaching the solar panel to your backpack when you are on an adventure. This is green energy for your equipment!

My review

Great little device for keeping your caravan or motorhome leisure battery topped-up whilst not in use. My caravan is kept in a storage site and the battery is often on ½ or ¾ capacity when I finally come to use it after a period of inactivity. This device keeps it stable at whatever level it's at when it goes into storage. Maybe during a hot period in full sun it would top the battery up but I'm just happy that it's preventing it from draining. It's very easy to install - just stick it to the most appropriate sun-facing window (four suction cups included) and trail the wires to the battery terminals (crocodile clips included).

For me, the simplest solution was to stick it to the right hand window and drop the wires out of the window and into the battery compartment underneath. The wires are so thin they won't significantly compromise the water-tightness of the seals. If you are prepared to extend the wires and you know what you're doing then you could probably route through in the interior to the appropriate cables in the fusebox but what I've done is the quickest solution. Because I'm a moron I tested it was working by touching the crocodile clips with my tongue and I can testify that this product generates a fair old current. You really can't go wrong for this price - great product
