My review :

The headset comes in a black color . While the plastic feels durable, time will tell how well it holds up with getting knocked around like the usual gaming headset.

The outer band that runs across your head feels durable and strong and has a rubberized coating, the inner band feels like a faux coated piece of plastic, all feels comfortable but wished it had a little more padding. The headset in general rests very well on my head and does not move around, but as your aware every head is shaped differently and I had no problems on average. The earphones padding also feel very comfortable fitting around my whole ear cancelling any outside noise, time will tell how well this padding holds up.

The USB cable is approximately 2,2 meters long which is adequate, when plugged into your USB port both back sides of the earphones light up Sandberg logo which, I find a great feature but it cannot be turned off while using the headset.

Your windows operating system quickly automatically determines your headset and installs as a ‘USB PnP Audio Device’ within seconds and is usable from the word go.

Comparing this headset to my other slightly older Sandberg headset’s, I would say that this Sandberg headset is on par. The 7.1 surround sound is quality is rich, a little echo at times but that’s ok. More than loud enough for the average user and I had to turn down the volume slightly in some circumstances.

There are no inline adjustments on the USB cable like some headsets, but instead the volume slider is on the which can easily be found, I actually prefer instead of an inline adjustment which weighs down the USB cable at times. The volume switch only adjusts the headset volume, not on the computer. That is the only basic functionality this headset has and does NOT have any further features like mute for either sound or microphone.

The microphone which is a little shorter than normal in length can be adjusted and moved around, it is clear coated and rubberized feeling very durable. I am told the microphone quality is of good and fair quality, much better than your standard built in microphone which comes built into most laptops or devices and my voice comes across very clear.

After all this headset comes with 5 years FREE warranty which cannot be sniffed at and offers peace of mind!

For its price, this product is very good value compared to other products and I would 100% highly recommend this as a cheaper headset to get you started for either gaming, video chat or just simply listening to your music!
